This department aims to train registered dietitians who can effectively support humans’ dietary habits from early to old age. Students will learn to promote health maintenance, disease prevention, and care for individuals with illnesses from the perspectives of nutrition and food science.  

Students will learn about the scientific foundations of food and the human body, the psychological aspects of eating, and the social environment surrounding individuals. Through an interdisciplinary curriculum that includes public health, healthcare, and welfare, education, and food production and manufacturing, students will develop the knowledge and skills needed for a variety of career paths.
